Huntington Beach, CA (March 18, 2024) – A female pedestrian was killed in a crash that occurred on Monday, March 18th in Huntington Beach. The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Heil Avenue and Bradbury Lane.
According to a report from the scene, a 57-year-old woman from Huntington Beach was struck by a white 2014 Mazda 6 that was traveling on Heil Avenue. The woman, who was not identified, died from her injuries at the accident scene. The Mazda driver, a 61-year-old Huntington Beach man, remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. There were no additional injuries reported in the accident. Police do not believe that either drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Police are still investigating at this time but it is possible that a second vehicle, described as a white SUV, may have also been involved in the collision. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Huntington Beach Police Department. No further information is available at this time.
