Los Angeles, CA (March 6, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash that took place on the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles. The incident was reported just after 3:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway near Vermont Vista.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was hit near the on-ramp. When police arrived, they found the victim suffering from critical injuries. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no word on the exact cause of the crash at this time. Officials did not provide any information on the driver of the vehicle. The southbound lanes of the freeway were blocked while police investigated the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the area. No further information has been released.
