Hesperia, CA (April 23, 2024) – A serious two-vehicle crash took place in Hesperia on Monday afternoon, April 22nd. The accident happened around 12:10 p.m. along Bear Valley Road near Second Avenue at the entrance to a local restaurant.
According to a report from the area, a Chevrolet van was traveling westbound on Bear Valley and stopped near Second Avenue while attempted to make a southbound turn. At the same time, a 2006 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road. The Toyota failed to stop at a red light and broadsided the Chevy van. The male driver of the van suffered major arm injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The female Toyota driver was taken to a trauma center with a possible head injuries. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Police are still investigating. There is no further information available.
