Norwalk, CA (April 16, 2024) – A 34-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on the 605 Freeway on Monday morning, April 15th. The accident occurred around 9:15 a.m. the Norwalk area.
According to a report, the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the roadway. On Tuesday, police identified the victim as Tess Kleinman Aronchick. Aronchick was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The southbound lanes of the road were shut down while an investigation was conducted. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel. There is no word on how the accident took place at this time, nor is there a description of the vehicle or the driver involved. Police are still investigating. No additional information has been released.
