Burbank, CA (May 10, 2024) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash that took place in Burbank on Wednesday, May 8th. The collision occurred at the intersection of Olive Avene and Beachwood Drive.
According to a report from the scene, Christopher Torres, of San Fernando, was riding his motorcycle near the intersection when he was struck by a car. Torres suffered critical injuries and later succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The driver of the car stopped and remained at the scene. There were no other injuries reported in the crash. Police did not say how the accident happened and there is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. An investigation is underway.
