Lancaster, CA (June 26, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash that took place in Lancaster on Tuesday, June 25. The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of 15th Street East and Avenue I.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a sedan was traveling westbound when it struck a pedestrian in the bicycle lane of the roadway. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time. There is no further information on the cause of the crash, although an investigation remains ongoing. There is also no information on whether charges will be filed.
