Lancaster, CA (July 27, 2024) – A female pedestrian was killed following a crash that took place in Lancaster on Friday, July 26. The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Avenue J.
According to police, the victim was walking near the intersection when she was hit by a Ford Flex that was traveling eastbound on Avenue J. The woman, who was not identified, suffered critical injuries in the crash. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time. There were no additional injuries reported. The accident remains under investigation and it is unknown whether any charges will be filed. More information will be released as the inquiry progresses.
