Perris, CA (July 7, 2024) – A 46-year-old man was killed in a crash that happened in Perris on Friday, July 5. The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of the Ramona Expressway and Redlands Avenue.
According to a report from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Samuel Alvarado was riding his motorcycle southbound on Redlands when he was struck by a Nissan sedan that was traveling westbound on Ramona. Alvarado sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Details on what led up to the accident have not been released. It is unknown if anyone else was hurt in the accident.
