Ventura, CA – Three-Car Crash with Major Injuries on Hwy. 1

Ventura, CA (July 5, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) was called to the scene of a serious injury accident in Ventura on Tuesday, July 2. The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 1.

According to a CHP report, a gray Subaru, a white Toyota, and a blue Ford were all involved in the accident and collided head-on with each other. Three people in the Toyota, including an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were transported to a nearby hospital. The 18-year-old suffered a fractured back, while the 19-year-old sustained a fractured sternum. Three other motorists suffered minor injuries. There is no word on what caused the accident at this time, although local law enforcement officials are currently investigating the incident. More information will be released as the inquiry progresses.
