Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Melrose Ave & N Bronson Ave

Los Angeles, CA (December 10, 2024) – An injury pedestrian crash occurred on December 10 in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. The incident took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and North Bronson Avenue. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene.

According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department, a black car was involved in the collision, which is believed to have hit a pedestrian, possibly a cyclist. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. Authorities immediately shut down the intersection to allow emergency medical personnel to tend to the injured individual.

Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) firefighters assisted with the victim’s extraction and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital. The pedestrian was seriously injured, and their condition remains unknown. Local traffic was diverted from the area while authorities investigated the crash site and cleared the roadway.

The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that an investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been made at this time. It is unclear whether the driver of the car remained at the scene.
