Alhambra, CA – Deadly Pedestrian Crash on S Almansor St

Alhambra, CA (January 2, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Thursday morning involving a pedestrian and two cars, resulting in road closures and significant disruptions. The incident, reported by local authorities, took place at approximately 11:59 a.m. at 1622 S Almansor St, near the heart of Alhambra.  

According to the initial reports from the Alhambra Fire Department, a pedestrian was hit by a car and was reported as not breathing. Firefighters and medics arrived on the scene promptly, performing emergency measures to treat the injured pedestrian, who was later transported to a nearby hospital but was tragically pronounced deceased.  

Additionally, one of the cars involved in the crash required assistance for extrication. Firefighters carefully worked to remove the cars from the scene to clear the area for medical teams and to minimize traffic disruption.  

The authorities took control of the situation, working alongside the police department to manage the road closure and direct traffic around the incident.
