North Hollywood, CA – Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash at Roscoe Blvd & Laurel Canyon Blvd

North Hollywood, CA (June 20, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed in a tragic hit-and-run crash early Tuesday, June 17 at a gas station in North Hollywood.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the incident happened around 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18. The crash occurred at the Arco gas station located at Roscoe Blvd and Laurel Canyon Blvd.

Surveillance video showed a dark-colored Hummer EV SUV entering the gas station. A man was lying between two parking spots when the vehicle entered. As the SUV moved forward, it struck and ran over the man.

The driver did not stop or help. Instead, they fled the scene, heading north on Pendleton St from Roscoe Blvd. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded shortly after, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police released the video on Friday to ask the public for help. Investigators noted that the SUV had three “cab lights” on its roof, which may help identify the vehicle.

Authorities are still searching for the driver and urge anyone with information to come forward. The investigation into this deadly hit-and-run remains ongoing.

We extend our sincere wishes for recovery and peace to the loved ones affected by this tragic event.
