Los Angeles, CA (June 29, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a pedestrian crash on Saturday morning, June 28th. The accident took place just before 1:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway near Interstate 10.

According to a report, officers arrived at the scene and found an unresponsive female pedestrian lying in the road. A delivery truck was also stopped at the scene and was blocking several lanes of traffic. The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the accident scene. There is no information on the events leading up to the crash at this time. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident. No additional information has been released at this time.
