Lake Forest, CA (August 8, 2026) – A man in his 70s was killed in a two-vehicle crash near El Toro Rd and Via Ridgeline Rd in Lake Forest on Thursday night, August 6. A 22-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI in connection with the fatal crash.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the area around 9:39 p.m. The Orange County Fire Authority found an adult male in his 70s deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The suspected DUI driver was booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
