West Rancho Dominguez, CA (August 27, 2026) – On Wednesday morning, August 26, a male pedestrian was killed after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at Avalon Boulevard and East 136th Street.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened around 4:10 a.m. Officers pronounced the man dead where he was found.
Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office staff were sent to help with the recovery. The circumstances that led to the crash are still being reviewed.
