Newport Beach, CA (August 20, 2026) – Four people were hurt Wednesday morning, August 19, when three vehicles collided on southbound MacArthur Boulevard near Ford Road.
Newport Beach Police and Fire rushed to the scene of the wreck around 11:20 a.m., and they closed the roadway temporarily while treating the injured.
Emergency units treated all four people at the site before taking them to nearby hospitals for care.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation, and southbound lanes on MacArthur Boulevard stayed closed as crews cleared the roadway.
