Buena Park, CA (March 14, 2024) – A pickup truck and a box truck were involved in a crash that took place in Buena Park on Wednesday morning, March 13th. The crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Beach Boulevard.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, the two vehicles were involved in a collision in the southbound lanes of the freeway. The box truck overturned after the accident and the pickup suffered heavy damage before becoming engulfed in flames after impact. Paramedics responded to the scene and treated at least one person for unknown injuries. Tow trucks arrived and removed both vehicles from the scene.
