Motorcycle Accidents in California
Motorcycle riding is a popular activity in California. While many people enjoy this hobby, it also comes with a substantial amount of risk. Motorcycle accidents are not as common as other types of crashes but when they do occur they are likely to lead to serious injuries for victims. When compared to passenger vehicles, motorcyclists have little protection from the force and impact of a crash. To make matters worse, riders are often thrown from their bikes following the initial collision, further increasing the chances of an injury.
When you or a family member have been impacted by a California motorcycle accident, you are likely to have many questions about your legal options and your future. Under California law, you could be entitled to compensation for your losses. This includes the right to receive payment for your pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and other kinds of damages that may apply to your specific case. The compensation that you receive could be substantial depending upon the circumstances of the crash.
