Los Angeles, CA – Two-Car Crash Injures One at Hooper Ave and E 56th St

Los Angeles, CA (December 2, 2024) – An injury car crash occurred on Monday, December 2, at approximately 7:52 p.m at the intersection of Hooper Avenue & East 56th Street in Los Angeles. The incident involved two cars, resulting in injuries to at least one individual. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene following a 911 call reporting the crash.

According to authorities, the crash took place at the busy intersection, with one car reportedly running a red light, colliding with another car. The impact caused significant damage to both cars. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were on hand to assist with the extraction of the drivers and passengers, as one individual was trapped inside their car. Firefighters worked diligently to safely free the trapped person, who was then transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

At least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries, but the extent of their condition remains unconfirmed. Authorities have stated that no fatalities have been reported at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed yet.
