Los Angeles, CA (November 9, 2025) – A scooter rider suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on Sunday, November 9, in Los Angeles. The crash occurred around 10:58 a.m. at the intersection of South Sepulveda Boulevard and West 96th Street.
Authorities said the rider was crossing the intersection when a vehicle struck them, throwing the person onto the pavement. Paramedics arrived within minutes and gave emergency care before taking the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Police closed the intersection for several hours as investigators examined the scene, gathered evidence, and spoke with witnesses. Detectives are still reviewing if any contributing factors played a role in the crash.
