Freeway Accidents in Orange
Freeways around Orange see heavy traffic each day, and crashes along the 55 Fwy and 22 Fwy are not uncommon. High speeds, dense traffic, and quick merges often create conditions where drivers have little time to react. When a crash happens on a freeway, injuries can be severe
Many freeway crashes start with distracted driving. Looking at a phone, adjusting the radio, or reaching for something in the car can take a driver’s eyes off the road long enough to cause serious harm. Speeding is also a leading factor. Drivers who travel too fast cannot slow down in time to avoid a stopped or slowing vehicle. Heavy morning traffic can also raise risks, as drivers often follow too closely or change lanes without signaling.
After a crash, injury victims may face high medical bills and long recovery times. A car accident lawyer can help by reviewing the crash, gathering evidence, and working with insurance companies. This support is important because insurers may try to limit payouts or shift blame onto the victim. A lawyer can push back and ensure that the injured person’s rights stay protected.
Victims may qualify for several types of compensation. This can include payment for medical care, lost wages, pain and suffering, and damage to their vehicle. Each case is different, and the outcome depends on the facts. Acting quickly after a crash helps preserve evidence like skid marks, vehicle damage, and witness statements. These details often play a key role in proving what happened.
