Westminster, CA (March 4, 2024) – Authorities in Westminster were called to the scene of a crash involving a bicycle and a car on Thursday, February 29th. The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Bolsa Avenue.
According to a report from the Westminster Police Department, the bicyclist was seriously hurt after being hit by a car. Paramedics rushed to the scene and provided aid to the injured victim but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The bicyclist has been identified only as a woman in her 60s. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with a police investigation. There were no reports of any other injuries.
