Santa Ana, CA (July 16, 2026) – A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after being ejected from his bike Tuesday morning, July 14, on First Street.
The wreck happened around 7:02 a.m. near the intersection of First Street and Center Street. The Santa Ana Police Department identified the man as Calvin Williams, of Costa Mesa.
Williams was riding eastbound on First Street when a vehicle in the adjacent lane changed lanes, causing the two to collide. He was found on the roadway with significant upper-body trauma.
Emergency units attempted to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details about the other driver have been released.
The circumstances leading up to the lane change remain under review.
