Baker, CA (March 31, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal head-on crash in Baker on Saturday, March 30th. The crash took place around 1:45 p.m. on Interstate 15 northbound near the exit for Halloran Springs Road.
According to a report, a black Mercedes Benz and an SUV collided head-on with one another in the northbound lanes of I-15. According to officials, a total of three people lost their lives in the crash. Two of the victims were reportedly children with a third child being transported to a local hospital with a serious arm injury. A 40-year-old woman also suffered critical injuries in the crash. At this time, no one involved in the accident has been identified. The road was closed while an investigation was conducted. No further details are available at this time.
