Los Angeles, CA (May 25, 2024) – Authorities in Los Angeles responded to the scene of a deadly car accident on Saturday morning, May 25th. The crash was reported around 2:00 a.m. on the 605 Freeway at Katella Avenue.
Preliminary information indicates that two cars were involved in a violent collision. When police arrived, they found a victim lying in the roadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the crash scene and has not been identified at this time. There was debris in the roadway as a result of the crash. It is unknown whether anyone else was injured and the cause of the accident has not been released. Police shut down the northbound lanes of the road while the crash was investigated. Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling in the area. There is no further information available.
