Chula Vista, CA (July 1, 2025) – A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a Tesla happened Monday night, June 30, on southbound Interstate 805 near Telegraph Canyon Road. The collision took place shortly after 8 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The crash involved a red Tesla, a motorcycle, and possibly two other vehicles. The Tesla was found on its side, heavily damaged, with the motorcycle lying nearby. Emergency crews arrived quickly, but at least one person died from injuries sustained in the collision.
