Los Angeles, CA – Injury Crash at W Pico Blvd & Crenshaw Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (August 2, 2025) – A violent collision shattered the early-morning calm in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 2, leaving at least one person injured and prompting a swift emergency response.

Around 3:44 a.m., emergency crews rushed to the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles, where they found a white sedan with severe front-end damage.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free the driver, while paramedics assessed injuries on the sidewalk. Traffic was stopped in all directions until crews removed debris and towed the wrecked vehicle. The intersection reopened shortly after 4:15 a.m., but the full scope of the crash is still under investigation.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Traffic Division is leading the investigation. Officials say factors such as speed, distraction, or dark early-morning conditions could have played a role, though nothing is confirmed yet. Anyone with additional information or video footage is urged to contact the LAPD directly.

Our thoughts are with the injured driver and their loved ones during this difficult time.
