What led to the wreck has not been determined.

The investigation remains open as authorities work to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

Our thoughts are with everyone involved as they recover.

Should You See a Doctor After a Car Crash Even If You Feel Fine in Palmdale, CA?

Yes, medical evaluation after any crash is one of the most important steps a person can take, even when injuries are not immediately obvious. The body’s stress response in the moments right after a collision can mask pain signals, and conditions like whiplash, soft tissue damage, and mild traumatic brain injury often don’t produce noticeable symptoms until hours or days later. By the time those symptoms appear, the connection to the crash can become harder to establish without a medical record created close to the time of the accident.

Intersections along the Avenue R corridor serve both residential neighborhoods and commercial zones, and multi-vehicle collisions at these crossings are not uncommon. In crashes that involve three or more vehicles, the forces involved can affect occupants in ways that aren’t always felt right away.

A medical evaluation does more than protect a person’s health; it creates a documented link between the crash and any injuries that emerge. That documentation becomes critical if a claim is later filed, because insurance carriers routinely look for gaps between the date of the accident and the first medical visit as grounds to dispute or reduce a payout.

In the case that the gaps exist, even legitimate injuries can be difficult to connect to the collision on paper. A car accident lawyer can help identify which medical records matter most and ensure that nothing in a person’s file is used unfairly against them during the claims process.
