Garden Grove, CA (May 13, 2024) – A woman was killed after a car crashed into a home in Garden Grove on Sunday morning, May 12th. The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. in the 11800 block of Magnolia Street.

According to a report from the Garden Grove Police Department, a 35-year-old Riverside man was driving a 2019 Toyota Camry on Magnolia Street when he lost control of his car. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with a home, striking a woman inside the home. The woman, who was 40-years-old, was trapped by the vehicle. She suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released. After an investigation, police determined that the Camry driver was impaired at the time of the accident. Charges are pending. There is no further information available.
