If you’re injured in a bicycle crash, it’s crucial to know your legal rights. A common FAQ among injury victims is: “Can I seek compensation if I was hit by a car while riding my bike?” The answer is yes—California law allows injured cyclists to file personal injury claims against negligent drivers. Compensation can cover medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more. However, acting quickly is vital; victims typically have two years from the date of the accident to file a claim. Consulting with a qualified personal injury attorney can help ensure your rights are protected and maximize your chances of receiving fair compensation.
