San Juan Capistrano, CA (December 6, 2025) – One person sustained injuries on Friday, December 5, after a two-vehicle crash in San Juan Capistrano. The collision occurred around 10:52 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway near the Ortega Highway off-ramp.
Witnesses said two vehicles collided in the southbound lanes, leaving one person hurt. Emergency crews arrived within minutes. Paramedics treated the victim before taking them to a nearby hospital for further care.
Firefighters cleared debris from the roadway while officers documented the scene and interviewed witnesses. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate what caused the crash.
