Los Angeles, CA (April 8, 2024) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash that took place in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, April 7th. The accident happened around 5:15 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 101 Freeway near Mulholland Drive.

Troopers with the California Highway Patrol arrived to find the deceased pedestrian lying in the middle lane of the roadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and was not immediately identified. At this time, there is no information on what caused the crash to occur. It is also unknown if the driver remained at the scene following the collision. Police are still investigating at this time. There is no further information available.
