Los Angeles, CA (August 31, 2025) – A vehicle collision in South Los Angeles left at least one person injured on Sunday, August 31. The crash occurred around 12:34 a.m. in the 600 block of West 51st Street.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that vehicles collided with heavy impact, leaving one or more individuals hurt at the scene. Emergency crews arrived within minutes and began treating the injured. Paramedics then transported victims to a nearby hospital for further care.
Officials have not yet released details on the identities of those involved or the severity of their injuries.
Officials on scene for several hours, documenting evidence and speaking with witnesses. Investigators are currently reviewing whether speed, distraction, or impairment played a role in the crash.
