Los Angeles, CA – Five Injured in Crash on Ronald Reagan Fwy at Sepulveda Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (October 19, 2025)  Five people were injured on Sunday, October 19, in a multi-vehicle crash on the Ronald Reagan Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The collision occurred around 2:22 a.m. in the eastbound lanes when several vehicles collided with tremendous force. The impact scattered debris across the roadway and trapped multiple people inside their vehicles. Emergency crews arrived within minutes, pulled the victims from the wreckage, and provided immediate medical care before rushing them to nearby hospitals.

Paramedics treated one person for severe injuries that required advanced trauma care. Four others also received hospital treatment for less serious injuries. Officials have not yet provided updates on their conditions.

Investigators remained on the scene for several hours, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine the cause of the crash. Authorities are examining factors such as speeding, distracted driving, or impairment. The California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation and will release more information as they become available.
