Long Beach, CA (June 24, 2026) – An SUV crashed into a house and left three people hurt on Tuesday afternoon, June 23, near the intersection of East Bort Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
The collision happened around 1:50 p.m., according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Two women inside the home were struck by debris when the SUV partially entered the house. Along with the SUV’s driver, they were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, based on preliminary information. The homeowner was not present at the time and said the house was being rented out.
The vehicle was removed from the home later that afternoon. The investigation into this wreck remains active.
