Glendale, CA (April 2, 2024) – One person was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck and another car on Tuesday morning in Glendale. The accident took place around 5:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Glendale Avenue.
According to officials, the collision involved the semi-truck and a white Honda. The driver of the Honda suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. All lanes of the freeway were shut down while police cleared the scene and investigated the crash. Traffic was backed up for several miles and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes of travel if possible. At this time, there is no word on how the crash took place. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released. No other injuries have been reported and the crash remains under investigation. There is no additional information available at this time.
