Camarillo Springs, CA (April 14, 2024) – Multiple people were hurt in a wrong-way crash that took place in Camarillo Springs on Sunday, April 14th. The crash happened just after midnight in the northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a driver was traveling the wrong way on the freeway when they collided with multiple cars traveling in the opposite direction. A total of 11 cars were involved in the accident and about 20 people suffered some type of injuries. Most of the victims were treated at the scene but two of them sustained critical injuries and were transported to a local hospital. There is no update on their conditions at this time. Police have not identified anyone who was involved in the accident. It is unknown whether any charges will be filed. No further details are available.
