Sun Village, CA (July 13, 2025) – One person lost their life in a two-car crash that happened late Saturday morning, July 12, in Sun Village.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place at about 11:01 a.m. at the intersection of East Palmdale Boulevard and 120th Street East. A gray Ford Mustang and a blue GMC SUV were both involved.
Officials said one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles. Emergency crews arrived shortly after the crash and tried to help, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not yet been shared, as officials are waiting to notify the family.
The exact cause of the crash is still unclear. Investigators spent several hours at the scene. The road was closed as crews worked to remove the vehicles and gather evidence.
