San Bernardino, CA (March 29, 2024) – One person is dead following a serious head-on collision in San Bernardino on Friday, March 29th. The accident occurred just after 5:00 a.m. on the 395 Freeway, just north of Fremont Peak Road.
According to a report, a vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a car that was traveling in the opposite direction on the 395 Freeway. A motorist was trapped inside their vehicle after the crash and had to be extricated. One victim suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The roadway was closed until approximately 7:00 a.m. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel. No one involved has been identified. The crash remains under investigation. No further information is available.
