West Hollywood, CA (July 15, 2026) – A truck crashed into a newly renovated store on Melrose Avenue Tuesday afternoon, July 14, injuring two people who were taken to the hospital.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department , the accident happened around 12:46 p.m. at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard. The truck came to rest inside the storefront, while a white Tesla stopped nearby in the middle of Melrose Avenue also appeared to have been involved, with damage to its driver’s side doors.
It was not immediately clear whether the store was occupied at the time. Two people were taken to the hospital, though their conditions were not immediately known.
The circumstances that led the truck into the store are still being reviewed.
