E Hollywood, CA – Two Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Santa Monica Blvd & Kingsley Dr

East Hollywood, CA (July 12, 2025) – A head-on crash in East Hollywood early Saturday morning, July 12, left two people hospitalized, including one in critical condition. The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Kingsley Drive.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three vehicles were involved in the initial crash. First responders arrived quickly and found severe damage to two sedans and a Ford Mustang that had ended up partially on the sidewalk. Paramedics transported two people to a nearby hospital. One of them suffered critical injuries. Their names have not been released.

While officers were investigating the crash scene, a man driving a Chevy Camaro entered the secured area. He drove past the police tape and struck the rear of an LAPD squad car that was parked at the scene. The squad car had been there to help with the earlier crash.

It is unclear whether the driver of the Camaro was injured in the second collision. Authorities are still reviewing video footage to understand how the crash happened and whether charges will be filed.
